The ‘Consortium Connect’ event brought together key leaders from research, policy, and practice to advance mental health reform in Victoria. This included the Collaborative Centre’s Adult and Older Adult Best Practice Consortium Partners, led by The University of Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Hospital, with a network of 20 metropolitan, regional and rural health services, community organisations and research institutions.
The purpose of the Consortium Connect event was to:
- engage with the latest research and initiatives shaping mental health care including updates on the Collaborative Centre’s work and research projects from organisations within our Consortium
- build and nurture connections amongst leaders in mental health research, policy, healthcare delivery, industry, not-for-profit, government, and people with lived and living experience
- help shape the first annual workplan for the Consortium.
This event formed part of the Collaborative Centre’s commitment to translating research into real-world impact, particularly in supporting community-based models of care for adults and older adults requiring intensive, ongoing mental health and wellbeing support.
