We know that we need new ways of working to reform our complex mental health and wellbeing system. This means building trusted relationships, elevating lived and living experience knowledge and expertise, and establishing a culture of collaboration, innovation and learning. By regularly reflecting on the evidence that underpins the ways we work, we can start to change our practice, test new ideas and share what works for the benefit of all Victorians.

Our purpose is to work in partnership with people with lived and living experience to translate evidence into innovative and effective practice, to uphold human rights and to work with our mental health workforces and researchers towards our common goal of driving groundbreaking change to Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system.
