Caroline built an engaged and passionate team of LEAPsters with her strong and respectful relationship skills, her deep knowledge, experience and expertise, and her personal warmth and commitment to values-based work. She personally, and the LEAPsters together have provided invaluable advice to both the Board and the Collaborative Centre team. The early days of any new organisation are not always smooth sailing, but Caroline’s clear vision and tenacity ensured that every aspect of the Collaborative Centre’s establishment work - our Collaborative Charter, our partnerships with RMH, the University of Melbourne and our Consortium, our Strategic Plan, our Translational Research Strategy, our brand and the design of our new 205 Queensberry St “home” – all had lived and living experience at the core.
We can only reiterate our thanks for her dedication and her positive impact on the Collaborative Centre and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector and say that we wish her every success in her future endeavours. It has been a personal and professional pleasure working with Caroline over the past three years.
