This training will cover the following areas: - Overview of suicide prevalence and risk factors for autistic people - An introduction to suicide risk assessment tools adapted for this population. - Clinical expertise and case examples will be incorporated in the training to support participants to develop their knowledge about how to assess and respond to suicidality in autistic youth. - Lived and living experience perspectives on experiencing suicidality as an autistic person and seeking care will be shared.

This training is for Mental Health Clinicians and other professionals working with autistic children and young people, e.g. psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, psychiatrists and registrars.
