About me

I am a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse (CMHN), Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) and Clinical Supervisor. I am passionate about the provision of Clinical Supervision that empowers clinicians to reflect on their practice, reduce burn out and results in the provision of quality clinical care and treatment to mental health consumers. I am interested in promotion of clinical supervision and the role it plays in prolonging mental health clinicians within the sector

My experience

I have broad range of experience providing treatment and support to consumers with mental illnesses in both the public and private sector. In the public sector, I have been a psychiatric nurse in youth, adult and aged community settings, adult and aged inpatient units, clinical management of consumers under the Mental Health Act (2014) and community outreach. In the private sector, I have provided 1:1 psychotherapy to individuals and 1:1 clinical supervision to mental health clinicians.

Additionally, I have completed a Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice specialising in Mental Health Nursing from The University of Melbourne and I am currently completing my Masters in Nurse Practitioner from Flinders University

My current role/work

From January 2021, I have been providing treatment and support to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness within the community sector. I also commenced working in private practice from February 2023 where I provide 1:1 treatment and support to individuals and provide 1:1 Clinical Supervision to mental health clinicians.

My approach to supervision

I provide supervision to individuals through face-to-face, virtually and by phone to clinicians in both private and public roles. I utilise a strength based approach in my Clinical Supervision sessions
