About me

This supervisor has been approved to provide supervision under the ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT.

What gets me fired up? Creating better workplaces, especially for folks with lived/living experience. My own journey with trauma, mental health, Autism, and ADHD gives me a unique lens. It's why I'm able to connect globally, building relationships grounded in compassion and understanding. I'm based in the UK, but my network spans the globe, and I genuinely love linking people up with opportunities and sharing any resource I can access.

My broad cultural lens, being part of the queer and neurodivergent communities, helps me connect with a wide range of people, even those outside these camps, as long as our values align on embracing uniqueness. I love exploring and connecting with people worldwide to expand networks and boost growth. My personal experiences aren't just stories; they're the fuel driving my passion to transform how we support people in the workplace who've been on similar journeys.

First and foremost, I lead with my lived and living experience. That's my core drive, but I've also got a ton of other knowledge to back it up. I'm a training Organisational Psychologist specialising in the lived experience workforce and tackling issues like burnout and workaholism. For the past 15 years, I've had a wild ride in mental health as a senior leader, training developer, mentor, and supervisor. This supervisor has been approved to supervise under the ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT. If you are a supervisee who has received an approval email/letter from the CMHL you may contact this supervisor for supervision for this project, then follow the stated processes for supervision payment

My experience

I designed lived experience-informed suicide and self-harm support skills training that made it to the UK Patient Safety Awards finals, plus courses on suicide bereavement and workplace wellbeing.

My background also includes working in medium and low-secure mental health inpatient services, where I focused on peer support and reducing restrictive interventions

My current role/work

Most recently, I was a Lived Experience Lead and Operations Manager at the UK's biggest mental health charity, overseeing everything from crisis services and suicide prevention projects to co-production and suicide bereavement support. I designed lived experience-informed suicide and self-harm support skills training that made it to the UK Patient Safety Awards finals, plus courses on suicide bereavement and workplace wellbeing. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Leadership and Management and am just finishing a MSc in Organisational Psychology. Plus, I'm qualified in advanced peer support and peer supervision, and I've got a diverse portfolio of other lived/living experience certifications.

I'm also the founder and director of LEAD—Lived Experience Advisory Directory, a non-profit dedicated to making workplaces better for people with lived and living experience. Beyond that, support organisations to help them create supportive environments and really understand the impact of getting it right for their lived/lived experience workforce. Alongside this, I walk alongside people who are looking to explore their relationship with their work and how this impacts them, primarily with folks who have tendencies to overwork, have high expectations of themselves and who may be reaching burnout. I also help people recover after leaving the workplace so they can move onto something that works better for them.

My approach to supervision

When it comes to supervision, my approach is all about you – your needs, your uniqueness. I absolutely love holding space for reflection; that's where the creative sparks fly, where innovation and inspiration truly emerge.

I trust the process, because I've seen firsthand the depth of thinking that comes from shared reflective space. Being in the UK (GMT), we can find a time that works for both of us, whether that means early mornings or late evenings on your end.
