2-day Motivational Interviewing Workshop Day 2

This is a free event designed for staff employed in: 

• the Victorian state-funded mental health sector

This two day in-person workshop for Mental Health staff introduces Motivational Interviewing (MI) theory and practice. MI is a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication, with particular attention to the language of change. It is designed to strengthen personal motivation for, and commitment to, a specific goal by eliciting and exploring the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion. Participants will have a chance to learn and experience MI processes.
