The Collaborative Centre hosts seven government funded, statewide discipline-specific Mental Health Educators through a secondment arrangement with Royal Melbourne Hospital. These roles include Enrolled Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Social Work.
The educator roles were established under discipline enterprise agreements to strengthen discipline-specific workforce development and education for staff working in Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.
Previously based at the Centre for Mental Health Learning, the educators continue their work at the Collaborative Centre, supporting staff beyond early career stages through discipline leadership networks, communities of practice and tailored workforce development activities.
