“Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.” (Wegener-Trayner, 2015)
Communities of Practice serve as platforms for learners to engage in continuous learning, reflect on practice, and support each other's professional growth. These communities foster a sense of belonging and mutual commitment, enabling members to collectively address challenges and innovate within their work contexts (de Carvalho-Filho, Tio, & Steinert, 2020).
