About the role
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is seeking an experienced and passionate psychologist to take on a statewide leadership role in psychology education and workforce development.
Seconded to the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing until June 2027, the Statewide Principal Psychology Educator will lead the planning, development and delivery of psychology training programs across Victoria's public mental health services.
Key highlights of the role:
- Lead statewide psychology education and training programs for Victoria's public mental health workforce
- Oversee the design, delivery and evaluation of professional development for psychologists across the public sector
- Manage and mentor a Grade 4 Psychology Educator
- Collaborate with universities, training providers and professional networks to strengthen workforce capability
- Contribute to broader mental health reform and workforce development initiatives
What you'll bring:
- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, with endorsement as a Clinical, Forensic or Clinical Neuropsychologist
- At least 10 years' experience in mental health services
- Board-approved supervisor status
- Demonstrated experience leading training, education or workforce development programs
