At the Collaborative Centre, our people bring together diverse expertise to support a stronger mental health and wellbeing system in Victoria.

Our teams include people with Lived and Living Experience, clinicians, researchers, educators, policy and public sector professionals, communicators and operational specialists. What brings us together is a shared commitment to learning, collaboration and reform shaped by the people and communities the system exists to serve.

This breadth of experience shapes how we work: how we listen, how we partner, how we translate evidence into practice, and how we support change across the system.

Our leadership team

Our leadership team brings together expertise in research, system reform, operations and workforce development, guided by a shared commitment to strengthening mental health and wellbeing across Victoria.

Professor Sarah Wilson, CEO, PhD, FAMHS, FASSA, GAICD (she/her)

Sarah is the Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing and an internationally recognised clinical neuropsychologist and cognitive neuroscientist. Her work in music neuroscience has shown how music can shape brain function, recovery and wellbeing. She is passionate about translating research into practice and bringing lived, clinical and research expertise together to create a mental health system that truly works for people.

Our workforce team
