About me

Hello! My name is Clare (she/her). I’m a lived and living experience practitioner who is passionate about creating spaces where people feel genuinely heard, respected and understood. I bring warmth, curiosity, authenticity and a strong belief that people are experts in their own lives.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of two young boys, and two beautiful cats. I love good food, the beach, moving my body and a good night’s sleep.

My experience

I joined the lived-experience workforce over nine years ago as a peer worker and have since worked across community mental health services specialising in perinatal mental health and eating disorders. I’ve worked within predominantly lived-experience teams as well as multidisciplinary environments.

I have experience supporting teams of peer workers, facilitating groups, workshops and training sessions, and contributing to program delivery and development. I’ve also been involved in advisory groups and co-design projects.

I have experience providing both group and individual supervision and completed Consumer Perspective Supervision (CPS) training in 2024.

My approach to supervision

I believe that connection, trust and authenticity should be centred in supervision. I want supervision to feel like a safe (enough), supportive and genuine space where people can talk openly. I enjoy helping people reflect and navigate the joys and challenges of working from a consumer perspective, while staying connected to what matters to them.

I try to be flexible and responsive, while making space for different experiences, ideas and perspectives. I see supervision as an opportunity to learn together, troubleshoot, ‘zoom out’ and support confident, sustainable practice.
