About the role
The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Manager, Research Translation and Practice Innovation to lead multi-agency research and clinical partnerships that support a learning mental health system.
Working across the organisation, the successful candidate will build and sustain partnerships, oversee complex research programs, and translate evidence into practical insights, tools and resources that inform mental health policy, service delivery and workforce development.
Key highlights of the role:
- Oversee a program of multi-agency research and practice innovation projects, including outputs, budget, timelines and risk management
- Provide direct leadership and management to a small team of Postdoctoral Researchers
- Support the Centre's translational research team, including funding bids, database management and government reporting
- Develop and lead a new Mental Health Research Translation Network to strengthen collaboration and innovation
- Guide the translation of research into practical insights, tools and resources, including knowledge-sharing systems and platforms
What you'll bring:
- A PhD in a relevant discipline such as public health, mental health, psychology, social sciences or a related field (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience conducting and publishing mental health, wellbeing or social policy research, and securing competitive grant funding.
- Experience working with people who have a past or current lived experience of mental health challenges or psychological distress (preferable)
