Stigma and discrimination experiences are rampant in the world of having mental health issues, AOD and in the world of harm reduction. Not only do the people we support experience it, but we also experience it. One of the tough things is we don’t only experience externally, how many of us have internalised stigma?
In this workshop we will explore the different considerations and ways we may deal with both internal and external stigma, and discrimination, and how we may also support the people we work with to be able to be resilient in the face of it.
