The Victorian Collaborative Centre’s Psychology Supervisor Connect and Reflect series is designed to support endorsed psychology supervisors in enhancing their clinical supervision practice. Each session explores a key topic related to clinical supervision, offers valuable insights, and provides practical strategies to strengthen supervisory relationships and outcomes.

 

This 2 hour online workshop will introduce or refresh the Reflective Practice model of supervision (Carroll & Hewson, 2016) and encourage discussion through case studies and experiential activities.

 

Learning Objectives:

• Understand reflective practice and reflexivity and how to apply them in supervision.

• Employ the safe reflective SPACE to support supervisee engagement.

• Become familiar with the "Supervisory Spaces".

 

Presenters:

Holly Kent is a Clinical Psychologist with 24 years’ experience across Perth, Launceston and Melbourne, working in mental health and general health across public hospital, community, clinic and private practice settings. She has been an Educator with Monash Health for two years and has supervised psychologists since 2005, having been grandfathered in as a Board Approved Supervisor. Holly is passionate about educating, training and supervising psychologists.

 

Georgia Graham is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in Melbourne since 2012, with experience across public and private hospitals, not-for-profit and private practice settings. She has primarily specialised in working with adults with eating disorders, their families and carers. Georgia has been a Psychology Clinical Educator with Monash Health for 2.5 years and has supervised psychologists since 2018. She is passionate about supporting the psychology workforce, particularly early career psychologists, through supervision and education.

 

Eligibility criteria:

This session is open to Endorsed Psychology Supervisors working in Victorian public health settings.
