This workshop will focus on the evidence-base for, and application of, psychological approaches when working with bipolar disorder.
This workshop will cover:
- Issues around diagnostic complexity and misdiagnosis
- The evidence base and role of psychological processes in the onset and maintenance of bipolar disorder
- Cognitive and behavioural interventions for depression, including the role of schemas and self-compassion
- Cognitive and behavioural interventions for hypo/ mania
- The role of psychological processes in wellness planning
The training will be delivered in-person in the training facilities at the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.
