This series of training is for Family Carer lived and living experience workers (LLEWs) who are new to the workforce and want to strengthen their understanding and connection to our work.

It’s Relational: Purposeful Communication and Use of Lived Experience

In this session we will explore:

  • the history and values of our workforce

  • essential skills in relational listening

  • enhancing ways to share lived experience purposefully and safely.

This introductory training offers a unique space to build deeper connection to your daily work and fosters the community and shared expertise that defines our discipline.

Eligibility criteria: All registrants for this training must be employed in a Family Carer Lived Experience role in Victoria.

Due to limits on the number of registrants who can attend the training, those new to the workforce will be prioritised.
