This introductory webinar will provide an overview of what PDAS is, how it works, and how clinicians and services can use it effectively in day-to-day practice.

Designed for clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, medical staff, and service leaders, the session will outline the scope and function of PDAS, the types of enquiries commonly received, and how the service supports clinical decision-making across inpatient, community, and specialist mental health settings.

The session will be delivered as an online presentation, incorporating real-world case vignettes from past enquiries to illustrate how PDAS supports complex prescribing and medication-related challenges. There will be time for questions and discussion at the end, with opportunities for participants to share topics or areas of interest to help shape future education sessions later in the year.

Further PDAS education sessions are planned for mid- and late-2026, informed by feedback from this introductory webinar.
