This session, hosted by Orygen Digital, is about how clinicians can use cutting-edge digital tools—including MOST, Mello, and XR—to enhance youth mental health care. It will include a live presentation and Q&A examining how these technologies are being developed and applied in practice to improve access, engagement, and outcomes for young people.

The session will also feature young people’s lived experiences of digital support, providing perspective on what contributes to meaningful and inclusive care in practice. Together, these elements offer a grounded look at current innovations alongside the realities of youth engagement with digital mental health services.

By the end of this session, participants will:

- Understand the potential clinical use and development of three digital mental health interventions: MOST, Mello and XR-based tools

- Identify when and how to integrate digital tools into clinical practice to complement client’s needs, preferences and existing therapeutic approaches

- Reflect on young people’s perspectives of digital support and how these align or diverse from clinical assumptions

- Recognise the role of participatory design and lived experience involvement in shaping relevant and effective digital interventions

- Develop awareness of how emerging technologies are being applied to enhance digital mental health tools and their implications for clinical care
