Eating disorders place individuals at significant risk of physical harm. Harm reduction approaches empower individuals to better understand the risks associated with their behaviours, and are widely used in alcohol and other drug settings, where they are linked to improved engagement and reduced harm.
Increasingly, harm reduction is being applied in eating disorder care.
This webinar will guide clinicians through the foundational principles, current evidence, and practical strategies for implementing harm reduction approaches with individuals experiencing eating disorders – both as a stand-alone intervention and alongside evidence-based treatment.
This webinar is suitable for clinicians working with young adults and adults with eating disorders.
